Offering services since 1991, the Schneider family values were present in every step of its conception. Mr. Schneider visited often even enlisting the help of his daughters and wife for their special touches. Annually the centre sees over 250,000 patients, from the help of a multidisciplinary team of 1,500 staff. The centre has seen many “medical firsts” including multiple organ transplants and continues research to improve medical care. At Schneider Medical Centre, they offer a unique treatment called ‘shiatsu’, a special massage that has been accredited through research as extremely beneficial for children and meeting their unique needs. The centre cares about equal treatment allowing every patient adequate care, with no care of the person and race or their background. The Good Cedar Foundation is excited to donate the funds received towards ensuring that children are receiving adequate medicine, funding to ensure all equipment is new and in working condition and even fund special trips for sick children to take their mind of their harsh realities. Every child at Schneider will receive a package of Cedar Marker’s fabulous 12 pack of markers so that they can get creative through art.
