Who We Are
The Good Cedar Foundation was proudly established in 2018, as a medium to honor and commemorate Erez: beloved father, friend and husband who passed away from cancer in 2015. Erez lived life to the fullest, advancing medical research at work and demonstrating love and compassion as a dear friend to many people. Erez was passionate, resilient and never gave up.
Our goals
The Good Cedar Foundations is focused in these ways:
- Fund cancer research through monetary donations: Good Cedar will donate to the steadfast research for many strands of cancers that affect individuals however will focus upon pancreas cancer and children diagnosed with cancer.
- Heartfelt visits: Donating time goes a long way. Being a child with cancer can be lonely, confusing and painful. Therefore, Good Cedar Foundation will accompany sick children during their medical journey, through heartfelt visits intended to brighten their days and allowing children to be children, through exciting activities. The children that The Good Cedar Foundation will visit and help are being treated at Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel. This state of the art hospital is an important figure in The Good Cedar Foundation. We are proud to be partnered with them in order to donate money and resources to helping the future of the sickly children.
- Focus on education: Education is energizing and offers a better life. Good Cedar intends to offer prospective engineering students the gift of education through monetary scholarships to the esteemed Ben Gurion University of Negev, in the department of Mechanical Engineering. The Ben Gurion University is one of the best and includes a focus on interdisciplinary studies in order to engage engineers in all aspects necessary for a successful future including management, research and development. Prospective students should be positive, creative, and hungry for knowledge. Majoriy of every graduated candidate goes on to contribute positively in the work force.
- Improve patient chances: Unfortunately, not all those diagnosed with cancer are diagnosed with enough time to receive the necessary treatment. The Good Cedar Foundation strives to improve the chances of healing through monetary donations directly used to improve cancer testing programs, including advancing technologies and investing in the next generation of solution research.
Our Mission
The mission of Good Cedar Foundation is namely, to carry on the legacy of beloved Erez, through the care and donations to patients and cancer researchers. Good Cedar is dedicated to helping cancer eradication through donations of time and money to support and research. 100 % of fund raised by the foundation go directly to the fight against cancer.
